Software Technology Parks of India to create around 15,000 direct jobs

STPI is an organization under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. A budget of Rs 50 crore has been allocated to incentivize the establishment of 5000 seats in respect of BPO/ITES operations in the region. This scheme aims at creating an ecosystem in the North East that will unleash development in the region.

Hathway was in second place for most of the time period with a top speed of 33.69 Mbps while Airtel speeds rose to second place in September with a mean download speed of 34.43 Mbps followed by BSNL and GTPL. Jio showed the most variability in speeds from a dip down to 17.52 Mbps in August to speeds reaching 41.99 Mbps in September.

Tibetans too under spyware radar

Activists say Whatsapp has been exposed to snooping by surveillance firms based out of China. Tenzin Dalha, a research fellow at the Tibet Policy Institute in Dharamshala said WhatsApp had not reached out to him or other activists who were victims of the malware.
