Infosys submits applications with RoC in ex-CFO's severance agreement matter

IT firm Infosys had agreed to pay its former CFO Rajiv Bansal a severance amount of Rs 17.38 crore or 24 months of salary, but the company suspended payments after he got Rs 5 crore as co-founder Murthy and others objected to the package. Bansal's severance payout has been one of the contentious issues Infosys founders had raised to allege governance lapses.

Infosys opens innovation centre in Dusseldorf, Germany

The innovation hub of Infosys would serve as a link between businesses and the leading educational establishments in Germany in a move to bridge the STEM (science technology engineering and mathematics) talent gap in the region. Infosys said there would be strategic partnerships with regional academic institutions such as Hochschule Dusseldorf and WHU.

Former Star and Disney head Sanjay Gupta to head Google India

A post graduate from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata, Gupta is an engineer from Delhi College of Engineering. Gupta joins Google from Star and Disney India where he was the Managing Director. He also had stints at HUL and Bharti Airtel as Chief Marketing Officer.
