Maintaining its growth trajectory in the highly-congested premium smartphone segment in India, Apple garnered 51.3 per cent share in the Rs 35,000 and above price segment in the third quarter that ended on September 30.

According to Gartner, roughly $17.8 billion of the estimated $94 billion is considered spending in IT services and devices would be $35.4 billion. These two areas are expected to see a delay in discretionary spending or investment in digital transformation.
Digital technology training was once the realm of tech service company employees. But now, online and offline training course providers in this field have seen non-tech industry participation increasing to almost 40% of enrolments. Five to six digital training course providers now attract 20,000 to 30,000 candidates every year.
"2020 will be a rebound year for India's IT spending as consumers return to purchasing mobile phones after sitting on the sidelines in 2019," Gartner research Vice President John-David Lovelock said.
