As part of the collaboration, Tech Mahindra will develop, pilot and implement state-of-the-art digital products and services to foster growth, productivity and innovations in the area of 5G and 6G. Tech Mahindra’s innovation centre will be a platform for key players in Finland, including universities, research institutes, govt & cos, to collaborate.

442% rise in the number of URLs blocked

IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad addressed to the question raised by Congress MP Jothimani over removal of “objectionable online content posted on social media.” According to the reply, while the government had blocked 633 URLs in 2016, the number climbed up to 3,433 in 2019 (till October 31), a jump of 442%.

Realme plans offline-centric smartphone series, to expand retail presence

ealme occupied the fourth spot in the Indian smartphone market with 14.3 per cent share, after Xiaomi (27.1 per cent), Samsung (18.9 per cent) and Vivo (15.2 per cent). Oppo ranked fifth with 11.8 per cent share in the July-September 2019 quarter, as per IDC data. Interestingly, Realme is part of BBK Group, which also owns brands like OPPO, Vivo and OnePlus.
