OnePlus begins pilot exports of 5G phones from India

OnePlus, which is among the first off the block in launching 5G devices in global markets, is also testing 5G capabilities for carriers in the US and Europe, besides Indian carriers, at its research and development centre in Hyderabad. The company has co-invested with Chinese rival Oppo to set up manufacturing facilities in Noida to make 5G devices.

Apple iPhone 2021 to be 'completely wireless': Analyst

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo , the purported iPhone will be launched in the second half of 2021 and offers a completely wireless experience, without any USB-C port either. The wireless version is likely to be the highest-end model, MacRumours reports. Kuo also predicted that Apple will also launch a possible 'iPhone SE 2 Plus'.

Free WiFi now at 5,500 railway stations

The Railways began the service of providing free WiFi at its stations from January 2016 from Mumbai Central station, and in a span of 46 months RailTel has extended the service to 5,500 stations across the country.

Analysts cautious on growth from DXC for Mphasis

DXC has been streamlining its business by expanding its offshore presence, making analysts cautious about its dependency on Mphasis, with some pulling back expectations from the channel and others revising their estimates. Business from DXC accounts for up to 28% of revenue. Mphasis has been able to grow revenues from its ‘direct core’ segment.
