Featurphone prices to increase after PCBA duty hike

Currently, close to 300 million units of PCBA are used annually in the country out of which 160 million are used in smartphones, according to Indian Cellular & Electronics Association of India (ICEA). All these PCBAs are manufactured locally. It is the balance PCBAs used in feature phones and chargers which are imported and will attract the increased duty.

CCI dismisses complaint against Naspers-owned PayU Payments, Wibmo

The Competition Commission of India has dismissed allegations of unfair business practices against PayU Payments and Wibmo.
