Huawei India indefinitely suspends travel to, from China

"The recent outbreak of respiratory illness caused by novel coronavirus (nCoV) first detected in Wuhan, China, has concerned Huawei. In accordance with instructions from authorities, Huawei has initiated contingency plans to help contribute to the health and safety of our staff and the communities in which we operate," Huawei India said in a statement.

Acer postpones Esports tournament in Philippines due to coronavirus concerns

The company said almost 20,000 tickets have already been sold for the tournament. It is being tentatively rescheduled to June or July. Acer said it will continue to closely monitor the coronavirus (2019-nCoV) situation and further announce when an exact date has been determined. Acer has hosted the tournament for two years now.

Cognizant in talks to buy French Salesforce consulting co, to add 345 employees

Cognizant said it was entering into exclusive negotiations to buy the French operations of El-Technologies, a digital consulting and Salesforce specialist, for an undisclosed sum. The IT company will add about 345 employees in France. The transaction requires consultation with the relevant works council and would be subject to closing conditions.
