Govt launches AarogyaSetu mobile app to track spread of Covid 19

Once installed in aa smart phone, the app detects other nearby devices with AarogyaSetu installed. The app can then calculate the risk of infection based on sophisticated parameters if any of these contacts is tested positive. The App will help the Government take necessary timely steps for assessing risk of spread of COVID-19 infection, and ensuring isolation where required.

Mobile consumption jumps 12%; social media, news, video streaming biggest gainers

While the increase in time spent is almost same in metros (11%), mini metros (15%) and tier II cities (12%), tier I cities witnessed 8% increase. Among the different age groups, the 35-44 year olds have shown maximum increase of 18%, followed by 15-24 year olds (12%) and 25-34 year olds (9%).
