TikTok report shows India sends highest number of user information and content takedown requests

TikTok was among the 59 Chinese apps banned by India last month for allegedly weak user privacy standards. The report showed India made a total of 302 requests and TikTok complied with 90 percent of those requests. The United States followed India with 78 requests. TikTok complied with 82% of the US’s requests.
