Indus OS turns profitable, targets new smartphone users

The company has become profitable on the basis of earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, and has an annual recurring revenue of $10 million. Indus OS claims to have more than 100 million users. It monetises the app store by charging apps for premium placement on the page as well as promotional activities.

Jio partners United Kingdom's AeroMobile for in-flight connectivity services

Jio's in-flight roaming bundle beginning at Rs 499 will offer 250 MB data, 100 minutes of outgoing calls and 100 SMS for one day for Jio customers travelling abroad. The service will be extended to domestic flights as well once the service is available in Indian airspace, Jio said in a statement on Friday.
