Zomato scraps grocery deliveries for the second time

Zomato began the pilot for its 45-minute grocery delivery service in a few markets, starting from Delhi NCR, in July. It operated on a marketplace model, allowing its users to order directly from stores. The pilot will end on September 17.

Apple app-store ruling in US echoes among Indian startups

The Alliance of Digital India Foundation, a 350-member grouping of Indian startups, said it expected that app developers in India will also have the option now to choose payment methods outside of the Apple and Google ecosystems.
