Uber lost China, but gained handsomely in Didi Global IPO

Shares of Didi Global rose 1% after the blockbuster IPO, ascribing the Chinese ride-hailing firm a market cap of about $68 billion. That makes Uber’s current 12% stake in the company worth about $8.1 billion.
